Change the conversation and help create welcome

Our events help us change the conversation about migrant and refugee communities in wider society – ensuring that the refugee and migrant community are represented in our society in meaningful ways. Through a series of iconic events that tell the stories of our clients and communities, we are creating a platform for Queenslanders to create welcome, promote inclusion, and give new Australians a sense of belonging.

We deliver events in Brisbane, Inala, Zillmere, Logan, Ipswich, Rockhampton, Toowoomba and Townsville.

Changing the Conversation | QPAC, Brisbane | Quarterly

Bringing together thought leaders from academia, government, business, and the community to engage in robust discussions about multiculturalism in the Australian context, the Changing the Conversation series – presented by Multicultural Australia in partnership with QPAC – explores issues of who and where we are as a nation and what we need to do to create a society that better reflects and cares for all its people.

LUMINOUS in the Regions | Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton & Eumundi

Our LUMINOUS in the Regions celebrate the cultural diversity of our local community with food and performances from around the world, and an opportunity to walk in our parade, spreading the message of welcome to new members of our community.

The AFL Multicultural Round presents a wonderful opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the AFL while making a positive impact in our community.
