Join our volunteer community and help create belonging for people from culturally diverse backgrounds across Queensland. Whether you’re interested in supporting community events or working directly with clients and programs, there are a range of opportunities to get involved.
To volunteer with Multicultural Australia, you must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid Volunteer Blue Card and an ID showing date of birth
Must have a valid Volunteer Blue Card, a current Police Check (or willingness to apply for one), and two professional references
All volunteers are required to complete onboarding forms before commencing.
Applications are reviewed once all required documents have been received, and our team will contact suitable applicants with the next steps.

Please note: Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accept volunteers from overseas. Our programs are currently designed for local participants or those already residing in Queensland, Australia.

We who come from many places pay our respects to Elders throughout all time and commit to learning from the knowledge, traditions, stories, spirituality, and experiences of Aboriginal people as we learn to live on their land.
We walk together in solidarity of the pain of the past, and in shared hope for the future.
