As Queensland’s leading settlement program provider, we provide wrap around settlement support to newly arrived refugees. Our practices are culturally informed and client-centered to meet the diverse needs of every individual we work with.

Life skills training

Multicultural Australia is dedicated to supporting newly arrived clients on their settlement journey by offering Life Skills training. These comprehensive workshops aim to provide essential information and guidance for a smooth transition into their new lives, and ultimately, independence and a sense of belonging.

Care Finder

Care Finder delivers a face-to-face network of assistance to older vulnerable adults that helps to navigate through, and access aged care. Care finders helps individuals understand and access elder care and connects them to related community assistance.

Refugee health outreach program

We work closely with Queensland Health, community organisations, and other health agencies in ensuring our diverse communities can access accurate health information and urgent health assistance when needed.

Unaccompanied humanitarian minors

Multicultural Australia is the Queensland State provider of the Unaccompanied Humanitarian Minors (UHM) program, funded by the Department of Home Affairs.  Our UHM program exists to promote wellbeing, independence, belonging and quality of life for children and young people.

Our Community Support Program (CSP) enables individuals, families, communities, and businesses, to sponsor humanitarian visa applicants with employment prospects, and to support new arrivals in their journey to Australian settlement.

Our Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) program helps individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds build capacity within the first five years of settlement in Australia.
