The Buddies Living in Australia program is a six-day learning experience where new Queenslanders are hosted by homestay volunteers and learn more about local language, culture, and cuisine.
The program breaks down cultural barriers and gives hosts an opportunity to better understand the cultures, languages and worldviews of multicultural individuals and communities.

We who have come from many places acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land which always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island land. We pay our respects to their Elders throughout all time. We walk together in solidarity of the pain of the past and the shared hope for the future.
