We are delighted to share the details of this year's MOSAIC Multicultural Festival taking place on Sunday 10 October 2021 at Roma St Parkland.

Be a part of the picture!

The MOSAIC Multicultural Festival celebrates the rich cultural contributions all of us bring to our multicultural Queensland through dance, music, spoken word poetry, storytelling, visual arts and crafts, children’s and family activities, delectable foods and cooking demonstrations!

The MOSAIC 2021 program features:

• World Music and dance by some of South East Queensland's best performers.
• Opening Ceremony featuring a Welcome to Country Performance and Smoking Ceremony at 12.00pm on the Celebration Stage.
• International Drumming Performance Program.
• Rock Around the Wok cooking demonstration by refugee and migrant community cooks who will share their settlement stories while creating a traditional dish.
• Youth Space with interactive games.
• Kids and family activities.
• Cultural marketplace featuring food, craft and activity stalls.

Acknowledgement of country
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of all the lands on which we meet, work and live and recognise that this land has always been and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.

Multicultural Australia respects and values Australia’s First Nation peoples’ enormous resilience, courage, determination and often unrecognized contributions to this country’s social and economic development. We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope for the future.
