“I came to Australia 8 years ago with my wife and my 2 kids. Multicultural Australia helped us with our first initial settlement. We opened Zeitoon Restaurant two-years ago.
Cooking has always been my passion. Zeitoon is a family business. We love to showcase our culture through our food and our hospitality.
It is also very important to us to give back to the community and country that has welcomed us.
Our menu has much in common with Middle Eastern cooking, where wheat is a staple, and lamb, poultry and yoghurt are all popular. A distinctly sour flavour is evident in most dishes, and may be achieved through the addition of lemon, pomegranate or sour oranges.”
