‘Our Journey’ is a celebration of the spirit and courage of refugees.
We invite you to join Multicultural Australia at Brisbane’s iconic La Boite Theatre to watch an exclusive screening of ‘Io Capitano’, which follows the perilous journey of two teenage boys from Senegal who dream of a better life in Europe and set out across the desert and sea. Their journey confronts them with the brutal realities of migration, including exploitation, violence, and survival against the odds. The film is a gripping and humanising portrayal of resilience, hope, and the cost of chasing freedom.

Tickets $11.20 per person plus $2.50 transaction fee per order.
