The Culture Collective is a workshop designed to equip Queensland high school students with the skills and confidence to stand up and speak out against discrimination, being brought to high schools across Queensland in partnership with the Queensland Department of Children and Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.

Delivered by Multicultural Australia's cultural training experts, The Culture Collective workshop will build high school students' knowledge of culturally and linguistically diverse Queensland communities.

Students of all cultural backgrounds will be empowered to unite in support of The Culture Collective's 'Better Together' ethos.

The Culture Collective was formally launched by the Hon Leanne Linard MP, Minister for Children and Youth Justice and Minister for Multicultural Affairs at Cleveland District High School on the 19th of October.

Workshops will run across Queensland until the end of 2022.

The workshops will be delivered to 20 high schools across Queensland, evenly split between schools in regional and metro areas.

Acknowledgement of country
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of all the lands on which we meet, work and live and recognise that this land has always been and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.

Multicultural Australia respects and values Australia’s First Nation peoples’ enormous resilience, courage, determination and often unrecognized contributions to this country’s social and economic development. We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope for the future.
