Multicultural Australia and our partners Suncorp are pleased to offer a free Storm Ready webinar to help members of Queensland's culturally diverse communities get ready for this year's storm season (November 2020 to April 2021).

We've already experienced major storms across Queensland in the past week including flash flooding, hail damage and power outages across the South-East corner.  The the Bureau of Meteorology are forecasting that there is an increased risk of cyclones, rain and storms for Queensland this season.

This online session with Scott Cooper from Suncorp's Disaster Response Team will provide you with easy to follow hints and tips for preparing your family and home for extreme weather. It’s also important that you check your insurance and make yourself aware of who to contact for help during a storm.

If you attend this session will can be in the running to receive a Suncorp Household Emergency Starter Kit valued at $100. The kit includes a first aid kit, torch and portable charger.  Email [email protected] to register for your free kit (we have 250 available).
