Masoud Panahi and his family came to Queensland from Iran as refugees two years ago.

Masoud had been working as a cook in Iran and Turkey for many years.  Food is his passion.

In Brisbane, he and his wife obtained their food handling certificates through Nundah Community Enterprises Cooperative

They've now established a family catering business; Persian Kitchen Catering.

They make a variety of Persian food, catering for any occasion including birthdays, weddings, parties and more from 20 to 500 people.

It is very important to the Panahis to work together as a family and support each other in new country.

They believe that they should give back to the community by working and showcasing their culture through food.
