MIGRANT YOUTH VISION PROJECT
Skip navigation

The Migrant Youth Vision Project (MYVP) links young people to education, training, employment and sport. It works to understand the needs and goals of each individual to develop motivated, skilled, focused individuals who are ready to participate in these areas of community.

The MYVP Youth Advisory Council is a driven group of 12 young leaders who offer valuable insight and advice to the MYVP team. Council members ensure the voice of newly arrived young people, their families and community contribute to program design and delivery.

Who is the program for?

The program is aimed at young people aged 15-24 from refugee or migrant backgrounds who have lived in Australia for 5 years or less.

MYVP is funded under the Youth Transition Pilot by the Department of Social Services.

Multicultural Australia respects and values Australia’s First Nation peoples’ enormous resilience, courage, determination and often unrecognized contributions to this country’s social and economic development. We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope for the future.
