LUMINOUS Lantern Parade 2020

We know that when these social distancing restrictions are lifted we’ll be looking for a big celebration where communities can come together and connect in real life.  That’s why we are rescheduling the LUMINOUS Lantern Parade to October 23rd.

“Queensland Says Welcome!”

The LUMINOUS Lantern Parade invites all of us to say a heartfelt Welcome to all people who are choosing to call Queensland home.

The spectacular parade celebrates Queensland's birthday and features over 400 lanterns lighting up South Bank.

The parade is followed by a World music concert in the South Bank Piazza.  The concert program will be announced soon!
