The Role:
As an Operations & Systems Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting refugee settlement services. You will assist with on-arrival support, data management, accommodation coordination, and build strong relationships with community and government stakeholders.
This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, or Toowoomba.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate on-arrival support for large groups of newly arrived refugees.
- Manage client data and update internal systems to support settlement services.
- Work with Cultural Support Workers and volunteers to provide essential client services.
- Organise accommodation and essential support services, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including suppliers and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with reporting, audit, and contract management requirements.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with humanitarian or culturally diverse communities.
- Knowledge of settlement services and support programs.
