About Suncorp’s partnership with Multicultural Australia

Since 2018, Suncorp and Multicultural Australia have partnered to increase the financial resilience of culturally diverse Queenslanders.

Suncorp’s support provides Multicultural Australia’s clients with career mentoring, job readiness, employment pathways and financial literacy workshops to build their financial resilience, so they can thrive in their new home. Through the partnership, Suncorp employees also participate in cultural capability training delivered by Multicultural Australia to better serve the whole community and support customers and colleagues.

Suncorp also shows its support by sponsoring the annual MOSAIC Multicultural Festival and LUMINOUS Lantern Parade, and for the first time in 2020, REIMAGINE. These events bring diverse communities together to celebrate diversity and inclusion in Queensland and Suncorp people are encouraged to volunteer and attend.

In 2019, Suncorp and Multicultural Australia received the Ministers Choice Award for Outstanding Engagement in the 2019 Multicultural Queensland Awards which recognised the work of our partnership.

Acknowledgement of country
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of all the lands on which we meet, work and live and recognise that this land has always been and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.

Multicultural Australia respects and values Australia’s First Nation peoples’ enormous resilience, courage, determination and often unrecognized contributions to this country’s social and economic development. We walk together in solidarity in the shared pain of the past and with shared hope for the future.
