CareerConnectors is a transformative program that supports new Australians in their journey towards employment success. By becoming a mentor, you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of migrants and refugees, helping them improve their employment potential and build powerful networks.

What does it take to become a mentor?

Being a mentor requires a blend of compassion, knowledge of your professional sector, and a genuine desire to guide and inspire others on their journey of growth and development.

Mentors will complete an initial induction session, inclusive of Cultural Capability Training delivered by Multicultural Australia, followed by a facilitated introduction with mentees.

Mentors and mentees participate in six weekly, one-hour long mentoring sessions over the course of the eight-week program, as well as a final event and graduation.

If you would like to participate and are ready to commit to the 8 week program, please complete the Expression of Interest form to be considered for the next program.

How can I get involved?

For further information about the CareerConnectors program, contact Multicultural Australia's employment team on 07 3337 5400 or email [email protected]

Should you be interested in participating in this program as a mentor, you are encouraged to complete the Expression of Interest Form here.
