NOVEMBER

In this cooking demonstration, Tania from Brisbane's Syrian/Armenian community will show you how to make Dobo (Armenian meatloaf) - just in time for dinner!

Syria has a large population of Armenian people and this traditional Armenian dish has been adapted and popularised in Syria.

Grab the ingredients from the recipe cards below and cook along at home!

Tania has been in Queensland for 3 years.  She would like people to know that Armenians are a very hospitable people.  Food is a big part of socialising in Tania’s culture, as is family and spirituality.

Tania will be cooking with The Good Food Project.  The Good Food Project is a social enterprise supporting people with barriers to employment through food and community. They work with new migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, as well as people with disabilities and mental health issues to train and gain employment in the hospitality industry.  Check out their virtual stall on The Marketplace!

Armenian cooking with Tania premieres on YouTube and Facebook at 5pm on 10 November.  Subscribe to our YouTube channel for notifications or set a watch reminder through the video link below.
